A Mardi Gras for Readers!

This coming weekend, Friday, September 15th – Sunday, September 17th, I'll be in New Orleans at the JW Marriott for Nola StoryCon, an enormous YA-centric gathering of writers and readers billed as a "Mardi Gras for Readers." And this year, we Middle Grade authors are attending too. 

Featuring Special Guests Charlaine Harris and Christine Feehan, hosted by authors Jeaniene Frost, Melissa Marr, and Kelly Armstrong, Nola Story con also includes these fabulous folk: Renee Ahdieh, Lenore Appelhans, Jeanette Battista, Jenna Black, Allison Brennan, Rachel Caine, Kiera Cass, Kristin Cast, PC Cast, Matthew Cody, Bruce Coville, Zoraida Cordova, Delilah Dawson, Kimberly Derting, Sonali Dev, Kami Garcia, Molly Harper, Kevin Hearne, Lorraine Heath,  Darynda Jones,  Chelsea Mueller, Daniel Jose Older, Leigh Perry, Aprilynne Pike, Tom Pollock, Kristen Simmons, Kerrelyn Sparks, Emma Trevayne, Rachel Vincent and Jaye Wells. 

Here is the Event Schedule. You can catch Yours Truly specifically at 5pm on Friday at The Goonies: Young Readers, a panel discussion with Rachel Caine, Matthew Cody, Bruce Coville, Aprilynne Pike, and Emma Trevayne. On Saturday, I'll be the author joining a one hour Jazz Walking Tour around the city, before returning in time for the big mass signing. And on Sunday, you can catch me with Kevin Hearne, Lorraine Heath, and Melissa Marr at Raiders of the Lost Ark: Looking to the Past for Inspiration.

It's going to be a great time. So if you are in or near New Orleans, or even if you aren't, you should considering coming by! But even if you can't make it, the host bookseller, Murder by the Book, is taking preorders for signed copies now through September 10th, and they ship internationally. So you can get any of the attending author guests to sign for you while we are there.
