Lou's Heading to a Galaxy Far, Far Away

It's been a while since I've written a newsletter, but I have some BIG NEWS that I think will make up for my absence.

I'm writing a Star Wars novel! 

That's right. I'm part of an exciting new series of books and comics from Lucasfilm Publishing, collectively called "Flight of the Falcon." Bazine Netal, the spy and mercenary seen on Takodana in The Force Awakens, is on the hunt for the Falcon, and the series follows her journey as she learns about the ship's long history. I'm writing a tale that features Han Solo and Chewbacca in their dealings with notorious pirate Hondo Ohnaka. Star Wars: Pirate's Price is aimed at 8-12 year old readers, as are the other books in the "Flight of the Falcon" series, but I think they'll be a lot here for any Star Wars fan, regardless of age. Other authors writing for this new series include Justina Ireland and Cavan Scott, and Annie Wu will be illustrating my novel.  You can read the official announcement on StarWars.com at the link here.
