NIGHTBORN DEBUTS! Hi,
And welcome to the latest Lou Anders' very infrequent and non-obtrusive newsletter. The big news is that book two in the Thrones & Bones series, Nightborn, is now published and out in the world. We had a launch event at Barnes & Noble, which was well attended despite the best efforts of the weather. It stormed last year when we launched Frostborn. This year, I heard reports of hail! (So around this time next year, you can blame whatever freak weather event occurs on me.) Here's a picture of the celebration.

Sci-FI & Fantasy Festival
This coming Saturday, I'm participating in the Hoover Public Library's first ever Sci-Fi & Fantasy Festival. The Festival begins at 10:00 am and runs through 8:00 pm. I'll be on a Role Playing Games panel with Ken Oswald, owner of the game store Excelsior, from 12:30 - 1:15 pm. Then I'll be joining J.F. Lewis, Stephen Duncan, and Ingrid Seymour for a Local Authors panel from 3:00 - 3:45 pm, and signing books immediately after. Other authors attending include Katherine Harbour, Bobby Nash, and Van Allen Plexico. They'll be games, presentations, and a costume contest. Come help the library make this a big event and hopefully it will become an annual one!
The Hoover Public Library is located at 200 Municipal Dr, Hoover, Alabama 35216. See their website and Facebook Event Page for more information.
