The Secrets of Drengrhalla

Hi all,

As you probably know, I’m currently running a Kickstarter for a 5e adventure called Vengeance of the Valravn. This is a stand-alone adventure in the Norse-inspired land of Norrøngard, setting for my novel Frostborn and the 5e campaign book Thrones & Bones: Norrøngard. The project made its goal in its first 12 hours and is now 251% funded.

Well, last night, thanks to all of our wonderful backers, Vengeance of the Valravn's big $5k stretch goal fell last night!

The Secrets of Drengrhalla has been unlocked!

Drengrhalla, which would roughly translate as "The Hall of the Gallant Ones," is the headquarters of the the Path of the Wolf Barbarians in the city of Sindholm. As part of the Vengeance of the Valravn adventure, Drengrhalla will get a detailed write up, with its history, lore, and secrets. With this expansion, Drengrhalla can serve not just as an interesting place to visit in Vengeance of the Valravn, but an important location—maybe even a home base—for characters adventuring across Norrøngard in stories beyond this one.

Meanwhile, I was recently interviewed on Mildra the Monk’s YouTube channel The Monastery. The interview isn’t 100% work or child safe—MIldra likes their profanity—but it does take a deep dive into the creation of and story behind Vengeance of the Valravn as well as tease a few upcoming projects.
