BIG BIG NEWS: VTT Debut!

Banner of the Bull is on Shard Tabletop!

Big, big news today! Thrones & Bones is making its virtual tabletop debut!

The recently-released adventure, Banner of the Bull, is live right now on Shard Tabletop!

What is that, you ask? Shard Tabletop is a virtual tabletop, character sheet, and campaign manager dedicated to 5th Edition games. It’s also the VTT currently most able to accommodate the particulars of Kobold Press’s Black Flag Roleplaying, the 5e variant system that I’ve switched over to beginning with Banner.

Are you excited, you ask? Heck yes, I’m excited! I’m thrilled with this new partnership between Shard Tabletop and Lazy Wolf Studios, and I’m looking to bring more Thrones & Bones content to their VTT in the coming months.

Well, how do I get in on this, you ask? Right now, you can see Lazy Wolf Studios’ two (yes, two!) offerings in the Shard marketplace. In addition to Banner of the Bull, the Thrones & Bones soundtrack, Songs of Norrøngard, from Grammy-nominated composer David Joseph Wesley is also available so you can integrate ambient music into your game.

A banner that says "Banner of the Bull. Fey are Invading the Northlands!" and shows a thorny grey goblin.

Okay, that is cool. What’s next, you ask? I’m so glad you asked! There are not one but three (three!) upcoming followup adventures to Banner of the Bull. Brian Suskind’s Keeper of the Drowned is a 3rd level adventure that is part of the Adventure Pack 2 add-on in Kobold Press’s current Game Master’s Guide Kickstarter. It will be available to Kickstarter backers and then the general public (including on Shard Tabletop) in the second quarter of the year. Then Kelly Pawlick has penned Troll of the Town, also a 3rd level adventure, which will drop on the heels of Keeper. And finally, Richard Pett’s Fury of the Forsaken, for 4th level, will debut—most likely on Kickstarter—towards the end of the year and feature some original rules mechanics I’ve been working on that work with Black Flag.

And we’ll get each of these up on Shard as they become available!

That’s a lot coming up, you say! Why yes, it is. Lazy Wolf has grown a whole bunch since our first book debuted in 2021, and this feels like a very big next step into our future! Thanks for being with us on this journey!
