Lou's Labyrinth

While I was away, my favorite TTRPG publisher, Kobold Press, brought out their Labyrinth Worldbook and its companion volume, Labyrinth Adventures. The Labyrinth is Kobold Press' new "campaign overlay", a connective tissue between worlds like the Infinite Staircase or Sigil or the river Styx, or any number of spaces between spaces from tabletop games and fantasy fiction. But it's also a setting it its own right, with factions, powerful NPCs, bubble cities, and core worlds. Alongside the setting guide, their adventure book contains 12 adventures for characters levels 1-8, all set in the Labyrinth and available to be played separately or as part of a campaign arc. I was very excited when the project was first announced and very excited to get my books a few days ago. But I'm even more excited than usual about the adventure book...
Because I wrote one of them!
More than that, in a crossing of IPs, my cold northern land of Norrøngard (and the whole world of Qualth it belongs to) have joined the Labyrinth. An adventure for 5th level characters, "In the Court of the Clockwork Queen," kicks off in the Norrønian city of Aarvik, before tossing characters into the Labyrinth.
I'm thrilled that we were able to work out the legalese to make this Lazy Wolf Studios / Kobold Press collaboration happen, so that my land and my favorite (other) publisher's netherspace can connect. Here's the cover of the book, and some glimpses at my own contribution (though if you're going to play this adventure, as opposed to run it, maybe don't scroll below the cover).

That's all for now. I hope you'll check out the Labyrinth Adventures and play "In the Court of the Clockwork Queen" as either a Labyrinth arc or a Norrøngard one!
Be healthy and see you soon!
