Fury of the Forsaken is finally coming to Kickstarter.

We've been working on this adventure since October of 2023, when it had the working title of Sleeping. Amazing designer Richard Pett (Cat and Mouse, Crooksmile, We Be Goblins) and I have been hard at work perfecting the story, which blends mystery, horror, adventure, and even a little comedy into a book-length hardcover that is so lavishly illustrated it could double as an art book.
Fury of the Forsaken is currently around 111 pages. We have art by Margarita Bourkova, Ksenia Kozhevnikova, Dio Mahesa, William O’Brien, and Aleksa Stajsic, along with location maps from Robert Lazzaretti and battlemaps from our friends and partners at Heroic Maps. In fact, Heroic Maps has created day/night, interior/exterior, and "normal" and "battle" variants of each of the around twenty locations, for over 120 variant battlemaps in all in the accompanying map pack (available as an add-on for over 56% off its eventual retail price).
Not only that but the story has a dual track—a mystery at the heart of a Viking lake town, which in turn is threatened by an undead siege. To facilitate the epic battle at the end of the story, we've included a brand new mass combat mechanic that is simple to implement and run.
And the setting? The new location of Frekrheim is richly detailed, illustrated, peopled, and mapped, lending itself to re-playability as a potential adventure site and/or home base for the characters.
Fury of the Forsaken is a 4th level adventure for Tales of the Valiant and Dungeon & Dragons. In order to make it easy for you to create a campaign around it, we're produce a second book as part of the Kickstarter campaign, The Bense Trilogy. The Bense Trilogy is a new hardcover compilation of three adventures previously released in softcover—Banner of the Bull, Keeper of the Drowned, and Troll of the Town. Together with expanded setting material, these three adventures are designed to take a character from 1st to 4th level, preparing them for and leading into Fury of the Forsaken.
Written by Yours Truly, Brian Suskind (Midgard Worldbook, Itza's Guide to Dragonbonding) and Kelly Pawlik (Tome of Beasts 3, Tome of Heroes), and set in the Scandinavian-inspired city of Bense, this new compilation is the ideal lead up to Fury of the Forsaken. We've made it so that together the two books give you everything you need to start playing a campaign in the great northern land of Norrøngard.

We've pulled out all the stops to make this Viking saga truly epic, something you and your players will never forget. The four stories in these two volumes plunge you into a detailed world full of monsters and NPCs and lore and so many opportunities for adventure.
And if we fund in the first 48 hours, we're giving everyone the one-shot 5th level adventure Tomb of the Frost Giant in PDF for free, which means your epic Norrøngard campaign can go even further.
Please join us in making this launch everything it can be. And thank you very much for being here. As the Norrønir say, "Be Healthy!"
