Tales from Stolki's Hall is Out Now
After a year and a half, this project is done-done-done!
Hi all,
Last year I began work on a project I’ve wanted to do since 2012, which was to create a short story anthology of fantasy fiction set in the my Norse-inspired land of Norrøngard, setting for the children’s novel Frostborn and the adult D&D powered roleplaying game campaign setting Thrones & Bones. And today, that project is finally put to bed. Earlier this year, the trade hardcover and ebook editions of Tales from Stolki’s Hall went up on Amazon and elsewhere, and today, the hardcover of the Deluxe Gamer Edition, which has an appendix of mechanics, monsters, magic, and NPCs drawn from the stories, is up for sale on DriveThruRPG and being sent out to all the Kickstarter backers who pledged for it
So grab your axe, take up your shield, and prepare for adventure!
The stories in Tales from Stolki’s Hall are by Joel Shepherd, Ed Greenwood, K. V. Johansen, Sarah L. Miles, Jon Sprunk, Clay Griffith and Susan Griffith, Rachael Smith, J. Dianne Dotson, Jonathan Anders, and Chris Willrich.
And the book looks great! I couldn’t be prouder of all the amazing work, from writers and artists, to make this deluxe edition a reality. I’ll be back next week with news of a different project, but for now, I’ll leave you with these shots of the book:
