This 52 page book, in PDF and softcover (hardcover coming soon) is full of player facing /non-spoilery lore about the land of Norrøngard, including rules for the rhyming insult competition known as flying and the Thrones & Bones in-world board game, as well as everything you need to build a character that fits seamlessly into this far northern land. The Player’s Guide to Norrøngard is an expansion of the earlier 5th edition Player’s Guide, with both more material and Tales of the Valiant-specific mechanics. It’s copiously illustrated, and GMs can give it to their players without worrying that it will spoil any secrets in the larger campaign setting. (As I’m unlikely to convert the original campaign setting from 5e to Tales of the Valiant, this book is also a sort of soft reboot to help ease players into the series of Tales of the Valiant adventures we’ve been releasing.)
