This is a stand alone, one-shot adventure for 5th level characters set in the land of Norrøngard and intended for the Tales of the Valiant RPG but playable with any Dungeons & Dragons compatible system.
In the aftermath of a blinding snowstorm, three frost giants beseech aid from daring adventurers willing to brave the ancient tomb of Þrívaldi the Thrice Mighty. The giants seek a legendary weapon once belonging to an ancient champion of the long-vanished frost giant empire. Only by wielding Þrívaldi’s Greataxe can the frost giant leader Keila hope to protect her people from a prophecy of doom. If the giantess can find heroes among the humans, dwarves, and huldrafolk of Norrøngard, perhaps these brave adventurers can enter the tomb on her behalf. Unbeknownst to Keila, however, there is more to the dark time than she has been told.
