Various and Sundry
The Thrones & Bones actual play, Norrøngard Unscripted, returns tomorrow after our 2-week hiatus, picking up where we left off. Last episode, "A New Day in a New Town," saw our heroes tasked by the jarl of Oslendholm to investigate a mysterious portal that had appeared in the castle beneath his longhouse. The portal lead to the jarl's original country of Talvedra, far to the south, as the jarl had hoped. Confessing that as a younger man he ran with a group of bandits, he has tasked our heroes with recovering a locket of great personal value, but members of his old gang have begged help in dealing with the gang's new leader. Meanwhile, some giant, many-toed footprints and a squashed traveler hint at a monster in the wilds nearby. Find out what's going to happen by checking out the latest episode tomorrow, Wednesday Nov 19, at 5:30 PST / 8:30 EST on YouTube and Twitch.
Meanwhile, two versions of Fury of the Forsaken, the grim adventure from Richard Pett and Yours Truly, are now up on Shard Tabletop. The Deluxe Edition features 37 maps, including the day/night, interior/exterior, and normal/during-the-battle variants. Pick this up if you want the full VTT experience. If you just need one version of most locations, roughly equal to what appears in the book/PDF version, then pick up the Standard Edition instead. This features 20 maps and is still a fantastic way to play Fury of the Forsaken online.
And if you are playing or planning to play a campaign in Norrøngard, we've just created a new channel on the Thrones & Bones Discord, chat_dm_spoilers, specifically to discuss the adventures without worrying about spoiling it for players. So click the link above and join us there!
More as I know it, and as the Norrønir say, "Be healthy!"
