We had some technical difficulties at the halfway mark, with Zoom cutting out on us briefly, but we pushed through it, and even with the trouble, it's a fast-paced episode that covers a lot of ground.
Fury of the Forsaken is set in the Norse-inspired land of Norrøngard. It's written by Richard Pett and Yours Truly. Richard's Cat and Mouse adventure from Kobold Press has long been one of my favorites, and I've always wanted to work with him. Together, we've created something dark and moody, a story that transposes The Seven Samurai to a Viking lake town. It ends with a huge battle, but there's a mystery at the heart of the town to unravel first.

Right now, the plan is to launch the Kickstarter at the end of this month. I'm watching a few things, so that might push back to the first week in May, but that's a hard and fast deadline.
The Kickstarter has a second hardcover, The Bense Trilogy, which is a collection and expansion of the three previous adventures, Banner of the Bull, Keeper of the Drowned, and Troll of the Town, all set in the city of Bense.

Together the two books make for a 1st to 5th level (Tier I) adventure path, one I hope you'll take your players down.
And if you want to see Fury of the Forsaken in action, including previews of the incredible artwork by William O'Brien, Dio Mahesa, Ksenia Kozhevnikova, and others, as well as tremendous maps from our friends and partners at Heroic Maps, you can watch the stream!
Meanwhile, we'll be back next Wednesday at 5:15 PT / 8:15 EST for the next episode.
As always, the stream will be on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and the new gamer friendly platform, Moonbeam. You can also see our short form videos on TikTok and Instagram.
And, of course, stay tuned as we are just weeks away from the Kickstarter launch of Fury of the Forsaken itself.
Until Next Time...
Thanks so much for being here, and as the Norrønur say…
Be healthy!
